Yonkers Honda is advertising a rather unusual job on its website.
The ideal applicant should have “strong attention to detail” and “a love of cars and driving,” the dealership says. Also needed: “the ability and availability to binge-watch nine Fast Saga movies in a short amount of time.”
The job listing is actually a contest the suburban New York City store is running in connection with the upcoming movie The Fast & The Furious 9. Yonkers Honda wants someone to watch the first nine films in the franchise (including the spinoff Hobbs & Shaw) in the week before the new one comes out in May, while chronicling the action on Twitter and Facebook.
“Here at Yonkers Honda, we obviously have an obsession with cars,” the ad says. “We wanted to find the perfect person to help us analyze our favorite franchise through the time-honored tradition of the binge-watch!”
Compensation includes snacks and energy drinks, a F&F box set and $900 ($100 for each movie watched) — as well as tickets to the 10th movie, which hits theaters Memorial Day weekend.
